Meet Our Team

Makenna is passionate about harm reduction and believes in meeting people where they are at. Makenna graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Superior with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Sociology where she researched and analyzed societal perceptions on drug culture. She has experience working with women who live with mental health conditions, people who use drugs, and  youth experiencing homelessness in Duluth, Minnesota. Makenna is currently studying for her Master of Social Work at the College of St. Scholastica. In the future, she would love to become a harm reduction therapist to hold space for people who use drugs.
