Hello! My name is Kameron Peak. I’m a Minnesota transplant, originally from Indiana but I’ve lived a majority of my life growing up in Duluth.
I’m a mother and a dog mom, so they always keep me on my toes-- and in addition to that I’m also a small business owner.
My learning of Harm Reduction Sisters was at a tabling event they were doing. As a recovering addict myself and also someone who’s previously worked in the mental health/medical field and service work my entire life, I was inspired by all of the work they were doing in the community and I genuinely wanted to play my part in enriching my community that I’ve grown to call home.
I’m truly grateful to have been offered the position of “Overdose Prevention Coordinator." I look forward to serving my community and Northern Minnesota. It’s a role that holds special meaning to me, and I am eager to contribute to the important work of harm reduction and overdose prevention.
