Meet Our Board Members

Mary Sprague

I have worked in behavioral health for over 20 years. My goals are to offer the people I serve the tools for whole health wellness. I am currently working in a community-based setting and am on a governance board for a local clubhouse that supports adults who have experienced mental health challenges in northern Minnesota. I retired from volunteer firefighting and EMS but still stay actively involved as a peer worker.

I have followed the Harm Reduction Sisters for years and believe in the harm reduction model. I have witnessed friends, family and community members lose their hope and faith due to lack of support and resources. My hope is that resources will become more readily available to people in the rural setting where they are desperately needed. I hope to help decrease stigma and invite anyone willing; to have healthy conversation about quality of life and harm reduction.
